FINANCIAL PROTECTION

Any monies paid to us are fully protected by our Air Travel Organisers Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority under number 3897 which protects all fly cruise holidays we offer. For all cruises that depart the UK, your monies are protected by our Association of British Travel Agents Licence, granted by ABTA under number: W0302. OUR FAIR TRADING CONDITIONS STIPULATE THAT ALL PASSENGERS TRAVELLING WITH US ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE VALID TRAVEL INSURANCE IN PLACE . You should also have insurance cover from the moment you book as cancellation charges apply from the time deposits are received (see Fair Trading Conditions).

We have a comprehensive policy available, details of which are given below, together with premiums payable.

Cover is arranged with The Travel Insurance People through Fogg Travel Insurance Services Limited and is underwritten by Union Reiserversicherung AG (URV) all of whom are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Voyages of Discovery is a trading name of All Leisure Holidays Ltd which is an Appointed Representative of Green Castle Insurance Services trading as The Travel Insurance People, enabling Voyages of Discovery to arrange insurance for their clients.

As with all travel insurance policies, you must declare any pre-existing conditions for yourself and anyone on whom your travel plans depend (that may include pre-existing conditions of relatives not travelling if that person’s medical condition may result in you having to cancel or curtail your holiday). You need to declare the condition by contacting the Travellers Healthcheck on 0845 1300 430. We will send a full copy of the policy wording with your confirmation of booking and this should be taken with you on your trip. Please read it carefully. Failure to disclose any material facts may mean that your policy will not cover you and it may invalidate the policy altogether. You will have 14 days to cancel this policy without charge in the unlikely event that the policy does not meet with your needs, providing that your cruise has not commenced and that you have not made a claim. After the 14 day period all premiums, including any additional premiums charged for pre-existing medical conditions, are non-refundable under any circumstances. Please note that cover is only available to residents of UK and EU member countries.

Fogg Assist’s 24 hour emergency service is provided 365 days a year. The maximum age for passengers taking out the cover detailed herein is 89 at the time of booking. The maximum duration of the cruise for passengers aged 71 to 89 at the time of booking is 60 days.

Premiums shown include 20% Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) and are correct at January 2012, but are subject to change.

It is a condition of this travel insurance that passengers travelling to European Union countries obtain an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) card, which will entitle them to benefit from reciprocal health agreements which exist between European Union countries. These are obtainable free of charge online at www.ehic.org.uk. Please note that you may be charged if you apply through unofficial sites.

HEALTH

If you, or any other person travelling with you, have ever had treatment for any serious or re-occuring medical condition or injury, any condition requiring long term prescribed medication or if you are receiving or awaiting investigation for any medical condition, or have been referred to a specialist in the past two years, then you must advise Travellers Healthcheck on 0845 1300 430 as per the policy terms to see if cover is available. Insurers reserve the right to impose additional terms. You will receive confirmation in writing of their decision. Any additional premiums required by Travellers HealthCheck are payable to Travellers HealthCheck, not Voyages of Discovery.

CHANGES IN YOUR HEALTH

If your health or medication changes between purchasing the travel insurance and date of travel you are also required to advise Travellers HealthCheck.
