The city is most famous for the work of architect Antoni Gaudi including the renowned Sagrada Família - the most visited monument in Spain.

Ruled by the same family - the Grimaldis - for more than seven centuries, the tiny principality of Monaco is your next port of call and a first for Voyager. LIVORNO, ITALY - 7TH AUGUST 8:00AM - 6:00PM
livorno-florence.jpg

Livorno boasts a favourable position on the Tuscan coast - it’s also your gateway to some of the region’s finest cities. In Italy’s ‘Art City’ Florence you can admire the famous Duomo or stroll across the Ponte Vecchio. Pisa is also within reach, where you can discover the famous Leaning Tower.

The mighty Colosseum, the exquisite Trevi Fountain and the elegant Spanish Steps - the eternal city of Rome’s many highlights are within reach from Civitavecchia. Perhaps head to Tarquinia, where magnificent Etruscan tombs decorated with fine frescoes have earned their place on UNESCO’s World Heritage list.

PORTO VECCHIO, CORSICA - 9TH AUGUST 8:00AM - 2:30PM
porto-vecchio-corsica.jpg

A new call for Voyager, Porto Vecchio is a stylish resort located on Corsica’s southern coast. It boasts idyllic sandy bays, breathtaking mountain scenery and a natural harbour which enticed the Genoese to found the town in 1539 as a defensive port. Wander the ancient streets of the Old Town to discover a maze of narrow cobbled streets, high stone houses and the 19th century Church of St Jean Baptiste.

CAGLIARI, SARDINIA - 10TH AUGUST 8:00AM - 8:00PM
cagliari-sardinia.jpg

Straddling a long bay, Sardinia’s capital is an ancient city with a long history. Head to the Castello, or Castle District, which is the oldest and highest part of the city, or trace the island’s past, in an excellent archaeological museum. In the Marina District you’ll discover cafés, shops and churches, while Cagliari’s Roman heritage takes centre stage in the impressive 10,000-seat amphitheatre. Further afield, Nora - a once powerful Phoenician city abandoned around the 3rd century AD - is within reach.

AT SEA 11TH AUGUST
SYRACUSE, SICILY - 12TH AUGUST 7:00AM - 2:30PM
syracuse.jpg

Founded in the 8th century BC by settlers from Corinth, Syracuse rose in stature to become the most important city of Magna Graecia and a fitting rival to Athens. Step ashore to discover a wealth of well-preserved ruins, most notably a Greek theatre dating back to the 5th century BC.

SARANDË, ALBANIA - 13TH AUGUST 12:00PM - 9:00PM
butrint-sarande.jpg

On a beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay nestled between the mountains and the Ionian Sea, Sarandë’s terraced landscape gives the illusion of a town sitting in its own amphitheatre. From this undiscovered Mediterranean gem you can visit the exceptional archaeological site of Butrint, which showcases monuments spanning more than 2,000 years of history.
