TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS - 4TH NOVEMBER (OVERNIGHT) - 5TH NOVEMBER 7:00PM
tenerife-teide.jpg

Your cruise begins with an overnight stay on the Volcanic Island of Tenerife. In the centre, Mount Teide soars to some 3,718 metres above sea level and is the third-tallest volcano in the world. This dramatic peak is surrounded by Teide National Park, an amazing volcanic wilderness of spectacular rock formations, lava streams and ash beds. In the lively capital of Santa Cruz, admire brightly-coloured buildings, fascinating museums and beautiful churches or take a walk through the delightful scenery of Parque Garcia Sanabria, the largest urban park in the Canary Islands with an area of 67 square miles.

LA PALMA, CANARY ISLANDS - 6TH NOVEMBER 7:00AM - 5:00PM
palma-majorca.jpg

The beautiful island of La Palma was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2002. It boasts dramatic landscapes, spectacular volcanoes, lush forests and tumbling waterfalls. In Fuencaliente, perhaps enjoy a breathtaking walk along the rim of the San Antonio Volcano and explore Teneguia, which last erupted in 1971.

AT SEA 7TH - 8TH NOVEMBER
MINDELO, CAPE VERDE - 9TH NOVEMBER 12:00PM (OVERNIGHT) - 10TH NOVEMBER 2:00PM
mindelo-cape-verde.jpg (2)

On the Island of São Vicente, step ashore in Mindelo, a city which sweeps around a port and is fringed by barren mountains. Once an important coaling station for British ships, Voyager will stay here overnight giving you ample time to explore the city’s old colonial buildings and pretty cobblestone streets. The bustling market here is also worth a visit.

SANTIAGO, CAPE VERDE - 11TH NOVEMBER 8:00AM - 7:00PM
santiago-cape-verde.jpg

Voyager’s next port of call is Santiago, the largest of the Cape Verde Islands. Here a diverse landscape of sandy beaches, lush, green valleys and mountainous peaks awaits. The UNESCO-listed city of Cidade da Ribeira Grande de Santiago, the former capital, is situated in a dramatic position between the sea and the mouth of a canyon. For sensational views, head to the cliff-side Fortaleza Real de São Filipe which overlooks the city. This mighty fortress, built in 1593, is a fine example of military architecture.

BOA VISTA, CAPE VERDE - 12TH NOVEMBER 8:00AM - 6:00PM
boa-vista.jpg

The most easterly of the Cape Verde islands, Boa Vista’s landscape is one of deserts, sand and scree. In Sal Rei, the island’s capital and only city, you’ll experience a unique blend of African and Portuguese culture, and the beaches here are a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun.

AT SEA 13TH - 15TH NOVEMBER
GRAN CANARIA, CANARY ISLANDS - 16TH NOVEMBER 8:00AM - 10:00PM
gran-canaria-las-palmas.jpg

Voyager’s final port of call is Gran Canaria, with its mountainous interior and glorious beaches. In the cosmopolitan capital Las Palmas, be sure to visit the beautiful House of Colombus, where Christopher Columbus is thought to have stayed in 1492. It’s a stunning example of Canarian architecture and home to a fascinating museum which documents the voyages of the famous explorer and the history of Gran Canaria.
