TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS - 22nd April (overnight) - 23rd April 7PM
tenerife.jpg

The largest and most populous of the seven Canary Islands, Tenerife is a popular holiday hotspot with a diverse array of experiences on offer. In the bustling capital of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, gaze up at impressive architecture built between the 17th and 21st centuries, and showcasing styles ranging from Renaissance to Baroque and Victorian. For an adventure, head to the UNESCO-listed Mount Teide National Park where Spain’s highest peak soars 12,200 feet high

LANZAROTE, CANARY ISLANDS - 24th April 7.30AM - 6PM
lanzarote.jpg

Lanzarote is an intriguing island of landscapes shaped by intense volcanic activity. Sun-soaked beaches contrast starkly with petrified lava seas and deep layers of volcanic ash left behind by 300 now-dormant volcanoes. The Timanfaya National Park is a notable example of the island’s unique scenery, with a mysterious lava scape of volcanic soil and spent cones. Other highlights on the island include stunning architectural gems designed by artist, architect and environmentalist César Manrique.

AT SEA 25th April
CASABLANCA, MOROCCO - 26th April 7AM - 11PM
casablanca.jpg

Once a small fishing village, Casablanca is now a modern metropolis and Morocco’s cultural and economic capital. Fringed by the spectacular Atlas Mountains, the city is home to the Hassan II Mosque – the largest in Morocco which also boasts the world’s tallest minaret. Gazing out over the glistening Atlantic Ocean, the incredible structure has a retractable roof and beautiful walls made of hand-crafted marble. If you want to head further afield, nearby Rabat offers charming narrow streets leading to an impressive Kasbah and bustling souks.

AT SEA 27th April
LISBON, PORTUGAL - 28th April 7AM - 8PM
lisbon.jpg

Some of the best views of Lisbon come as you sail up the Tagus River into the city. The Portuguese capital offers an array of highlights, from the UNESCO-listed Belem Tower to the intriguing Monument of Discoveries, which celebrates the Age of Discovery. The Gothic Jerónimos Monastery is also listed as a World Heritage Site, while the Queluz National Palace was one of the last great Rococo buildings to be designed in Europe.

AT SEA 29th April
LA CORUÑA, SPAIN - 30th April 7AM - 5PM
la-coruna-spain.jpg

Diverse La Coruña offers the best of both worlds – the bustling atmosphere of a busy metropolis and the cultural treasures of a fascinating historic city. On an elevated headland is the world’s oldest working lighthouse, the UNESCO-listed Tower of Hercules. Visit this intriguing Roman landmark or perhaps retrace the route of countless pilgrims along the Way of St James to Santiago de Compostela. Here you can visit the shrine to St James at the city’s magnificent cathedral, where the apostle was reputedly buried. Another tempting possibility is the Pazo de Oca – a former 15th century manor house boasting stunning gardens. Often referred to as the ‘Galician Versailles’ it is thought to be the first site where camellias were grown in the region. Admire these beautiful blooms along with exotic trees, stone fountains and many other wonderful features of this tranquil garden.
